terms of service & privacy
This website is operated by Dipity. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Dipity Literary Magazine, Dipity. Productions & Dipity Press. Dipity offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, guidelines, conditions, privacy policies, and notices stated here.

All authors and artists retain 100% publication rights to their work and we just ask that Dipity Literary Magazine, Dipity. Productions (spoken word) & Dipity Press (if it's a chapbook) are mentioned as the first place of publication or appearance — the same applies to our community publication podcasts Hummingbird Blink and Moon Milk. You may photograph the magazine and publications to share on social media and online, but no part of it may be mass-reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise, unless you have permission from the writer or artist of the work.

We have no control over additional discounts provided at later times on back issues by bookstores such as Amazon etc. Prices for products and submission fees are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the service. Submission fees are non-refundable so please ensure you read our submission guidelines carefully. We archive all submissions for submission tracking purposes and to sustain procedures over first-time subs.

We do not give streaming royalty check payouts or licensing to authors, writers, poets, or photographers. If you donate any photography to Dipity, you agree that it can be used in an issue or podcast as seen fit, in collages, for marketing materials, or elsewhere in Dipity publication projects without receiving payment. You agree that we can apply any royalties from streams of spoken word towards keeping Dipity projects up and running, maintenance fees, and funding community contests. Our ultimate goal is to work towards paying writers for their work. Only our Symphonic Challenge awards our fave poem from a round $50.

When visitors, writers, or artists fill out a form such as Submittable, we collect their names and email, addresses needed to reply to queries or, dependent on the clearly stated purpose of the form, subscribe them to our mailing lists and any related contest decisions.

When artists or writers are featured or published and they provide us with their photos authorizing us to edit them as we see fit.
